anybody here got a 250r in glamis? what gear do you pullup the hill(olds)? and what gearing do you have? i am leaving jersey next week on my way there and i was wondering what the best setup is. thanks

i got 14/39 right now, will that be ok? or should i drop the front back down to a 13. i believe stock for my bike was 13/38 but im not exactly sure. thanks for the advice

I actually don't know what stock is for a 250r, my dad has a 250r trike and a 250r quad, both with stock gearing. He is 6'4"...240 lbs and it gets his big *** up the hills just fine.

stock 86 was 13/39 and 89 was 13/38. if your going to run 18" tires i would suggest 14/38 if u are running 20" tires i would suggest 13/38

AHHH....your gonna have WAY TOO MUCH fun at Glamis. I bet you that you wont even want to leave. I didnt want to leave either when I went there!! Oh yea, way diff. weather too, its supposed to Snow in Jersey tomorow! HAVE FUN man and get PICS!

im definetly gonna get alot of pics. my friends went last year and they had a blast so i couldnt turn down going this year. i cant wait, we should arrive there sometime on monday if we leave saturday morning as planned. i think im gonna try my setup that i got now out and see if it works out and if not ill drop it down to a 13 tooth front. my motor has pleeenty of power so i just moght be ok. i guess i wont know till next week though, i cant wait

if you are an average size guy and your motor is in good shape...ie:strong, you'll be fine.

yeah my motor has maybe 3 hours on it all together. i didnt even get to open it up yet so hopefully the gearing will be ok
