Does any 1 have any good and/or bad experiences on a ktm dirtbike? My bud is thinkin of gettin one, only he does'nt know how they hold up. He knows they are fast, but he does'nt want a fast heap of junk. Thanks

i have a buddy that owns a 426 4-stroke KTM and a 250 2-stroke KTM...man they are some fun bikes. bulletproof too :D

Yeah those KTM motors are pretty much indestructable. Those bikes are made really really well.

They are great bikes. I got a 2002 ktm 125sx for sale.

my good friend races a 03 sx125 and he just got a 450 to race. they are really nice bikes, very clean looking...the steelbraided brakelines are nice too! i have ridden his a couple times and i love it.

So you are selling yours now? Are you anywhere near NC and how much are you asking?

Im in California. I am asking 3300 . It has around 2 grand in aftermarket parts. It has Hinson clutch basket and pressure plate, applied triple clamps with tag bars, N-style graphics and gripper seat, SST pipe and silencer. Also has excel wheels and hydrolic clutch. I can ship the bike for 200.

A 426 KTM?WTF you be smokin bro? They make a 400,450,and 520 also in 03 a 525(its not any bigger,just faster,wanted people to THINK its bigger.)

My only question...How does a dirt bike compare to a quad as far as where you can ride. I mean, can they go through mud and through creeks and over rocks and obstacles as well as quads?

Also Balla, no dirtbike's can't go threw all that stuff as good as quads,they do it better,:o

Its all a matter of Opinion,it depends on what yah want,but if you want a 1-2-5 for woods,i suggest a YZ125 or WR250F they are hands down the best 125 class woods machines....I mena sure the KTM 125 is good too,but the Yammy has better suspension,and the motor has the potential for woods,sure the KTM makes more HP than a YZ125,but the YZ is a good woods bike, but you'll be happier w/ a WR250F....
