Is there a reason why you are thinking about the TCS dual rates instead of their triple rates since I see you're comparing them to the Elka triples.

i dunno about elkas for XC... dont they give u less ground clearance because of the SDD... i know on BB01's banshee, his elkas really lowered his shee

I dont think TCS makes the Duals anymore. I think they only make their new triples. The new triples use Custom Axis bodies.

i'd get elka triple rates comp adj only...

the rebound adjusment isn't really needed on 16 inch shocks and it take up wheel travel...

i'd get the elkas over the tcs bc they are triple rates with ssd... i have the elkas and i love them...

The TCS are zero preload so they will sag just like the Elka's. I have the Elka's and love them, but you wouldn't go wrong with either one. You don't need rebound adjust though. Most of the companies say not to get rebound on the front. I believe most don't even run rebound with the LT setups, but don't quote me there.

I would normally say go TCS but where talking trails here so i say go with the elkas from what i hear there good at seting up shocks for trails TCS is a better MX shock IMO
