I saw one members 400 with a raptor grill and i thought it was awsome so im thinkin bout doin it to be different around herer since everyone in my town has a 400 So if you got one that isnt cracked and in good condition let me know what color you have and how much....Thanks....

Hey Matt! Did you get the directions this time? In that raptor hood picture - see that top molded portion of the hood? That's the part I was telling you to trim off (cut out) - that will make room for your steering stem and cables, and will allow the hood to seat far enough back onto your stock plastic to attach well.

Here is the only close-up shot I have of the hood - sorry it's sucky, but you can see how flush it is on the side, etc. You can see where I mounted my ignition switch, too - the blue keychain.

Yeah thats awsome :D ....I didnt realize it but i bought the same grate i think....it was from the hardwarse store....expanded matal....I just have to cut it out from a big square peice....

grl can u do a big post on it, like take pics of your quad and stuff... i know u covered it already but i cant find it... plus id like some close up pics

Matt - yep - it's just expanded metal from Lowes! But do what I didn't do at first - paint it before you install it. It says it's galvanized, but it started rusting right away. I took it off and painted it with some chrome spray paint (from Lowe's! HAHAHA) and it's back on and looks great - no rust! :)

Chanman - I will try to do a big post on this sometime, but I have to borrow a digi camera to do it....in the meantime, you can search the forum using the word "yamahonda" and you will find a big ol' thread on this......
