Exhaust system

Do you favor,will you recommend installing supertrapp IDS2 system on 300 ex ?
What other modifications that goes with this system are recommended ?

You need to re-jet the carb and you might want to pick up a performance air filter also.

I have a yoshimura slip on for the 300ex which is way better then the supertrapp....PM me if interested....200$

I have recently installed a IDS2 on my 300ex and still run the stock filter. Supertrapp claims that you don't need to change the jetting if you install between 4 and 8 discs. If you do more or less, they recommend re-jetting. I bought it because my stock exhaust headpipe was rusting pretty bad and I wanted a new complete Exhaust. For the price it's worth it in my opinion, most complete systems are $400+, my IDS2 was $200

Anyway, it added low-mid range increase for performance....

For trail riding, which is my main thing , it's an ok investment. If money is no object, go for the best one you can find....
