is it necessary to have an external fuel filter on a 250R?? if so, which one?

Its not mandatory,,,,,,,,but a very, very good idea;)

I have them on all my quads.........

i dont remember the name,,,,,,but they are just small solid core see through filters that go in the fuel line very nicely,,,,,,,can get a pic later if you want.

Thanx Chris, sorta like the C-Dale filters? i think ive seen bike w/ them over at R riders. When i go out to get supplies for the new R, ill pick a few up. BTW, is there a tranny filter for the oil?? thanx

no tranny filter for the oil.........just change it regularly........i probably do mine on overkill.........but oil is cheap insurance..........


I know this doesnt show the filter,,,,,,,,,,but here is my R on the ride last weekend......

i ordered mine out of JL, 11$, its nice insurance, cause you never know what little grain of sand will f*ck with your day, lol

You can get them at the local Honda shop or auto parts store. They are only a couple of $'s. They are a very good idea. ;)
