can my ex400 race a predator 500?

can my ex race a predator? cause i dont want to be out there an challenge to race him and than get killed......

all i have is an white brothers e-series exhaust.......

i beat one at a local track, i pulled the hole shot, he almost got me in the straight away but i held him back, altough my ex is modded quite a bit

remember, its all about the riders skill, yea mine is modified a lot, but i also had a blown head gasket and 2 gouges in my cylinder when i raced him so yea

me and a bunch of ppl i ride with raced one in a drag race and we all got killed... it was me with my 426ex a raptor with a pipe a banshee with pipes a fx 400 with a pipe and a z-400 and i got 3rd they predator killed everything and the raptor got 2nd and i beat everything else... but unless u put in like 3 or 4 grand into ur motor i dont think ur gonna beat one.. its got alot of top end

oh.....crud i dont think im gonna win.......my exhaust was about 300 bucks so i guess his stock 500 will still be better

ya, id suggest not racin one...not braggin or anything cause i do have a honda, but my predator is pretty much stock and WAY faster than my 440 ex and my ex has a good little list of goodies on it. the only way ull have a chance is to get him on some hardpacked dirt with sand on top...then these predators will sit there and spin all day long while u pull away. ive beat every raptor ive raced..some with pipes air filters etc and even a banshee on asphault and the shee had pipes, air filter, boost bottle and a few other goodies. good luck:devil

What do you mean by "race"....are you going to a MX track and "racing" a predator....or are you going to just drag "race"?

I drag raced my friends predator on my 310R on the concrete and was neck and neck. A 400ex with only a pipe will get smoked!

I Drag raced my buddy on his predator and i kept up with him fine :huh He just accelerated quicker....

A friend of mine that has a Z400 (Slip On) and got the holeshot against a Predator (18's on rear, stock motor), but it ended up beating him in the end...so thats something to consider...

Remember, rider skill is what it comes down to mostly...so if he sucks, and your good, then you have pretty good odds of winning...but if hes good ya might not wanna race him :uhoh:

Like I said, Just a drag race the predator will win. I can walk away from, on a MX track but thats a diffrent story.

i wouldnt doubt the z gettin the holeshot...the predators geometry and heavy front end gives you the disadvantage of spinning even though the razrs are supposed to be good tires. i think im gonna go with 18 holeshot mxs or 20 kenda klaws next

on pavement you wont spin unless you try, and drag racing you dont try, it will hook up and wheelie first
