What do i have too do too make my 300ex as fast or even faster than a stock 400ex

You MAY be able to get there with a 330 kit, high compression piston, cam, and some head work done (oversized valves, ect.)

I think a big bore/stroker would do it, but at that point your spending $2500 in engine mods ALONE. You could probably sell your 300EX, and combine that with the $2500 and buy a 400EX. Then, you'd have a bigger motor with more potential, as well as MUCH better suspension.

thats exactyl what went through my head when i was on my 300ex after a few harescrambles, i could do all that work but then i could get a 40ex for less. Then spend some money on it.:confused2
