Here is the pick of our 1966 Chevelle Malibu. It has a 383c.u with a 350 turbo transmission. The wheels are centerlines and it has black leather buckets. Any questions just ask.

nice chevelle man! i owned a 68 chevelle malibu not to long ago. i love old cars, dont race that 66! that thing looks too nice to race. are the numbers matching on it?

my dad owns a sweet 69 Camaro SS daytona yellow, 350, 4 on the floor, black vynil top, houndstooth yellow interior, all original even the windsheild numbers match, only 40-50 thousand miles on it or something like that. the only reason it isnt a number one car is because the original paint job was clear coated :( . other wise its wicked nice! i wish i had a pic to show you.

anyway have fun with the chevelle those are awesome cars!

No its not numbers matching. The motors not original and same with the tranny.

My friend has a '71 Chevelle with a 502c.u, man that thing roars! If it has 3:73's or 4:11's in it, it will run high 11's.

ohhhh i see :p Its a nice looking car!! To bad he doesn't race it....would love to see the numbers he runs. We have a 61 Falcon that we race/show, it run low 12's. He should take it to the track just once to see what it runs....just for the fun of it :devil

He wants to try a run to see his time because we just had a friend rebuild the carb and some other stuff. We could deffinatly feel the difference, especially when your burnin rubber through all 3 of the gears!! :devil

actually its bored .030 over and uses a 400 crank which has a 4" stroke instead of the 3.75 of the 350 engine..that makes a 383

You are correct.

Time to go work on my 69 c-10.

It has an Edelbrock RPM intake, a holley 750 carb,
a B&M 2800 torque converter, B&M pro shifter, 4:10's in the back.

He bought the car with the motor already built so
we don't know much about the inner workings.

Very nice!

We just pulled the motor (454) and tranny outa ours today (71' SS black w/ white stripes, white interior).
We did the whole rear end the last 2 weekends, and the front end is COMPLETELY torn apart, lol.
week only took 4 or 5 pics today, I should have them around next week.

Anyone have ideas on what colors to go with on painting the block and heads? Its orange now and needs repainting while rebuilding.
What colors did GM motors come in during the 60's and 70's?
I know mopar was orange, ford was blue, and i think pontaic was purple. And GM painted some of their motors orange, but im not sure if all were painted orange
Me and chad (friend who helps alot on the car) are thinking red block and black heads or vice versa (chrome valve covers).

ANYWAY, I like the car bro! Looks clean!

in the 60s and 70s the majority of GM motors were painted orange. spray the block, oil pan, heads, harmonic balancer, water pump, bellhousing, and all that good stuff orange again. trust me it looks the best.:D
