ahhhhh the good ol days before I got my first EX..... I had to learn how to do it on my good ol rancher.... I broke the battery box out 6 times in one year lol. Our honda shop said we were there best customers LOL. I only have one pic scanned of me jumping it from way back when I will try to get some more if I can find any...

04-04-2003, 01:16 AM
when i became interested in jumping and going fast....my fourwheeler became interested in repairs.. I had a bent front rack. bent axle. dents in a cupple places on the rims. one headlight out. and a lot of scratches, just to think we got 2600 for it on a trade in. I wouldnt do it anymore you are gunna really do a toll on it

I'd do it if I knew how to land without getting hurt. These things don't land soft at all

You are correct about them not being soft!! They ride pretty rough don't they?? What year is your Rancher? When you got it was it really stiff rough to ride?

Yes, the landing does hurt but i think its well worth it...i love jumping...one of my ankles MAY be fractured becuase i can barely walk on it...but i still have been jumping.....its just the feeling i get....i will post more pics later :) and about the reliabilty of the ranchers....they can with the best of the best in that category...the only thing wrong with mine is i dont have a battery..and it sputters a lil

Wouldnt it be a lot safer jumping a sport quad higher then jumping a heavy utility with shocks that are not made for jumping? If you wreaked that thing you would be a lot more hurt then jumping a sport.
