New Project R Pics!!!!

hey guys, well me and my brother are building a new race/fmx ready 250r. we got pics of what we have so far completed on it. the frame is a stock 1986 frame gusseted, pro peg mounts added and powdercoated by Rath Racing! very nice work. so far we've mounted the AC pro pegs, Laegers 89 length swing arm, +2+1 Houser A-Arms and for good measure we set our new LRD adjustable pipe in there to set it off. my stock 400 shocks are on there cause we dont have a set of front shocks for it yet. hoping to get some PEP zps. enjoy

few more things to add about the project. This R will be totally decked out with new Fibe Industries products. its going to be very flashy with adams products since most of it will be the red metalic color. the sceme we're going with is silver and flashy red. the grey hammertone powdercoat on the swing arm, frame and a-arms will have to double for silver. ive talked to my brother dan about designing some new Division Four graphics with wes to mount on either silver race front maier or silver fullbore. we hope to mount up a new PEP full suspension soon, possibly long travel. either chrome beadlocks or hipers will be running on this quad. hopefully we can get it together very soon cause its starting to get very nice around here. oh yeah, we dont have an engine yet for this beast.... still looking :D

looks good jon, that frame is almost the same color as my 400ex , mine was medium charcoal, i got silvervein housers too haha, do they make additions of something like creech had for his pro pegs? cant wait to see it all together

yup your right about that. im thowing (sellin) the EX engine and hopefully by this time next year it will be a CRF450/EX framed quad :devil

cody, my EX still isnt running. im still waiting on my new valves then after i get them it will still take 2 days for my engine builder to get the head work done :(

we want another R engine, the one we got now is pretty rough. the left side case is beat up and the trany is more less totalled. the top end needs to be completely redone so we're thinking about just buying a new R engine completely ready. otherwise if we cant find some deals i guess we're going to build our own engine too :macho

The beast got a new engine!!! just bought a new engine from a guy in florida. new tranny, stock top end, new clutch essembly, and fresh bearing. should be late next week. now we gotta work on some shocks and we're set!! :macho

nope i wont be at staples. i'll be in southern california by then :) the engine has a stock head and cylinder but dont worry, im sure there will be a 310 kit on there before we're done ;)
