Can any of you tell me the eay way to remove and clean the stator in my 87 R? Thanks!

its easy, you need to get a flywheel puller. might need a air gun, I pinned a wrench to the pegs and used a breaker bar and 22mm socket(I think). there is three or four bolts holding the stator on they are 10mm.
