I have a 250x with a lectron carb and I just got the quad all back togather and think I might need some help.... Icould timing affect the way the motor runs on the bottom of a gear but not the top? let me explain. when I hit the throttle at a low rpm the motor cuts out. but at a high rpm it seems to run fine. or if I run it threw the gears sometimes it would cut out when it hit the bottom of the next gear. do you think this is a timing problem? or does it sound like a fuel problem? thanks. -Tony:confused:

fuel problem, its leaning out, turn the metering rod clock wise 1/2 turn to riching it up, also look for air leaks in your intake boot. hope this helps
