View Full Version : Need someone to help with HTML coding

In a couple of days (hopefully) I am going to have the templates finished for the rest of the site's facelift. The hitch is that I just do not have time to transfer all of the site's content from the look we have now to the new look. I need someone who knows HTML fairly well (hand coding - NOT Frontpage) to help me with the switch. It will be mainly cutting and pasting code from the current code and plugging it into the new template. It will not be all cutting and pasting, however, on some pages you will need to add pictures in specific places, etc. All in all it is very basic HTML work, albeit time consuming, but you must know HTML pretty well - please do not apply if you do not have considerable experience with hand coding HTML. Please send me a PM to apply and with it include a list of your HTML experience as well as some links to pages you have coded (NOT with a HTML program such as Frontpage).

In return for your help I will be extremely grateful and you will receive an EXriders shirt and some decals. :D

Thanks guys! :D

Well, I can do it Ben. I just don't know how much time I will have free, so if you want me to do some of the easier pages, like tech articles, reviews, videos, and links I could probaly handle that :D Sorry I don't have any sites up that you could look at, I just haven't had a reason to put one up. My brother is really good (not that he would have the time, but he could help if I had a problem) This is his web site.. :D

http://www.alphagod.com/

if that helps me any... :D He is a bit more into drawing and stuff... He drew all of that on the computer...

I do websites for a living. I don't usually volunteer for this kind of thing because by the time the day is over I've had enough of code. However, I love this forum and site and would like it to succeed! My resume':

Highland Media (My Site) (http://www.highlandmedia.com)
T-Netix Corp. (http://www.t-netix.com)
Look Tours (http://www.looktours.com)
Booking Solution (http://www.bookingsolution.com)
H-Comm Inc (http://www.h-comm.com)
Squaw Valley Realty (http://www.esquaw.com)

View my site to see what I do. Weather I help or someone else, I can't wait to see the new site.

Is it really "html" help that you need, or do you need scripting help? Maybe pearl/php help? MySQL? My opinion about html is that ANYONE can do it. It is just a mark up language afterall. Just go here
http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/
and anything that you need to know about html is there.

I suggest to anyone seriously interested in learning html to read this, and "mesmorize" it. I may not be the one that builds our web pages at work, but I am the one that answeres all the questions for the guys that do. I have other more important programming to do, like making the machines run properly.

Sounds good Ben, can't wait to see the new stuff (no matter who gets to help with it. Sounds like you've got plenty of offers if one person can't handle it.

Great info at that link! :) Just for clarification I don't need HTML programming help - just someone to basically cut and paste the old pages into the new templates

Thanks again for the info :D
