.400/250....hood scoop on 300ex maier.

hey i need to know if a 400ex or 250r carbon fiber hood scoop will work on a 300ex with maier plastic.
i've seen the thread about feather carbon makng a scoop for a 300, but i don't like it....looks like a pig nose....plus it's set to work as a replacement stock hood. "wack wack" haha

put an '88 250r hood and light on his 300ex.
said it wassn't a stock "tight" fit, but it's not ganna fall off either.
so do you think this could work...

one of you 300 and 400 owner's.. if you have a 400 with a scoop,
be it, feather carbon, or quadtech scoop, take a few mesurments
and get back with me....

hey bro...i just bought a fibe industries 250r scoop for mine...it is a tight fit but its always loose when i take pics....and the stock hood looks bigger and such...i would buy some stock fenders cuz i wouldn't cut up a good set of maier fenders for it...go stock...i'll get you pics once i'm done..

My hood will fit, because I can make custom mounting to fit your body they cost 125.00 for regular colors carbon is 160.00 and ,metalflake is 145.00.
