i have a 400ex but the wb pipe is gone soo with the mods down there u see if i get a fmf power core q pipe, and a power bomb header, and maybe a cam will my ex have more wheeelie arm rippin power cus thats wat i want also i was thinkin of gettin a 416 how powerfull r those and i have like 400 -500 to spend thanks peace..

A high compression piston and a cam will help a lot. If you want arm ripping power you better get the 440. Look at my mods, I'll beat a stocker by at least ten -20 quad lenghts in a 300 yard race

A good way to get some decent power out of it would be to get a 416 kit, like you said. High comp. piston and a stage 2 hotcam. Then again that would be over $500.

I would just go with the 416 or the 426 kit.

since you already have some key elements,being the carb k&n filter and pipe id go for a 440 kit and hi-rev cdi box.whatever money you have left should be saved for a port and polish job in the near future but its easier to do it all at once while its apart.11:1 piston for pump gas and 12:1 for race your choice.from what i understand a lot of piston makers compression specs are not what they claim so you'll probly need to deck the head to acheive the desired compression.check mickey dunlaps' forum on this site,he explained what that is and how to do it w/gaskets alone and also how to check the compression.
