DG and Cobra are both just replacement pipes and sometimes not even as good as the stock in some instances...BUT DG HAS TO BE GOOD TIM FARR HAS ONE hahaha just kiddin...

But have ya ever noticed the DG pipe on Farr's thumper is not like any pipe they sell or advertise,,,I think its a custom pipe they made just fer him...I dont' know what kind of pipes Tim use's on his 2 stroke though??

im almost positive he uses Paul Turner. who sponsors him? they will tell you what pipe he uses. maybe sparks, too

rico,i was just kiddin, tim farr uses a specialy built baldwin pipe and silencer on the 426 and dg pays them to slap a sticker on the side! im not sure of the pipe he uses on the R but i think he also uses a baldwin silencer with a dg sticker on the R.

i love my dg!!!!!!! a krome header , krome silencer, and spark arrester for 200.00 , call me cheap, but i think any aftermarket pipe will add hp

on farrs, two stroke TT bike he uses a paul turner pipe with a DG silencer. And his 426 pipe is a carbon fiber DG pipe that has been modified by baldwin.

Have you guys ever noticed that Doug Gust uses AC products and runs a DG sticker on them.....nerfs and frnt bumper.

my brother has the DG krome slip on and a dirty *** K&N, no jetting, no air box mods. and when we raced (mine was stock) he beat me by at least bike length the whole time.

When i get finished jetting my modded stock pipe and jet his, we will race again and i will tell what the outcome is.

I hate the way DG's look! You know, the way they just cut the pipes (muffler inlets) at wierd angles and just butt weld them together! Everyone else uses formed pipes and they look like they flow better than those hard angles. Also, the ones with the diffuser plates have that flat cap on the back. It looks homemade, just like the wierd cut and welded pipes! Personally I think DG (period) is too expensive for what you get. The swingarm skid I got for my old 300 was very poor quality compared to PRM. Cheezzzzzzyyyyy spacers and no hardware to install it! Ever looked at the 400EX 6 pack rack? It looks like a real killer! It sticks above the seat.... OUCH!

my dg nerfs are junk for what i paid i wish i knew about the ac pro pegs at the time... thats when id idn't know crap about a 400 awww how times have changed...

there isn't a good quality or durable product made by DG.they all are complete crap!
as for the cobra pipes,my opinion is they are only noise makers,they could come with a sticker for your quad that says"my other noise maker is my ***":D

I personally don't like any of DGs products.
If anyone has bought skids or nerfs from then they will realize that they require a little bending/drilling in alot of cases to get them to fit properly.
But when i get a 400 chances are i might end up with DG nerfs because my dealer doesn't stock AC products and i can get a discount on the DG parts.

Yeah, but you can get a better discount on ac products through marcum. I was in the same boat. I think that dg makes all its money by being the only brand that dealers carry. I noticed the nerf bar thing on farr and gust's quad too, got a chuckle out o' that one.
