well for 1.... i dont know how people on this site are about making your own stuff, but i made my own a-arms and body skid guards, making my brother a steering stem and oil cooler, and im about to make me an aluminum airbox. i jsut dont know one thing. on the stock one, if you look at it straight down, in the back, they make it like angle at one part. is that for a reason or could i make it square off and be a full square box at the end. would it hit my swingarm or brakes if i bottom it out or something. does anyone know what im talking bout? thanks

yeah, that is so your caliper never hits the airbox. same reason white brothers exhausts have a dent in the back side.

if you don't angle it up, first ride on it you'll crush the box and ruin your brake caliper.
