stock 400ex's redline around 9400 or so maxing at 60 mph. My bike now with the kit gained 1500 rpm on the redline and is now around 11,000. How many mph do u think i gained if u have any clue at all. I know its a shot in the dark

id say it would go between 70 and 85 no more than 85 though

reasoning: 440EX ct pipe web cam, port and polish

shot in the dark

Yeah, I'd say somewhere between 0-85! JK:D The only way to find out is to radar the bike or if you have or know someone that has a GPS, That's pretty much on the money. Every bike is different so that's really the only way to know. With my stock bore and just the pipe, filter, jet-kit, and a 16T front sprocket mine would do 77.3 on my GPS! I haven't had my 440 long enough to hold it WOT to find out what it does on GPS. I did also change my gearing from 16-38 to 15-34(about the same as 16-36) which gives more top end speed. I did have it set up on a 16-34, and I'll bet it was doing close to 90!! But i lost tooo much bottom power. I like the 15-34 with the 440, I still have plenty of bottom power with extra top end. Piped Banshees and Raptors are hating me now. I'd rather change my gearing than over rev my motor. It's really not making any more power after 8000rpms, just turning the hell out of it!! And I like durability!! :ermm:

my bikes max power is at 8370 now so its up there rev wise. It'll rev to the moon. What gear do u think i should put on to keep bottom but get the top mph

i would guess very low 70's.

Many use the 15/36 with the 440 and it seems to be a good compromise or all around gearing. Gets the top speed up without much loss in the bottom and makes 1st gear a little more useable etc.

You could try the 34 tooth rear sproket and see how it works for how you ride, and some do prefer the higher gearing.

low 70's, but if you gear it you could prolly hit 80
