I would say 99.9 percent of all stock quads come with a thumb throttle. I think one of the new quads possible the gas gas comes with a twist but im not sure. And even most of your quads that are all done up still have the thumb throttle. But its all a matter or rider preference. I personally hate twist throttles but thats mostly because im not good with one.

anyone else know anything????
Im not sure if this is true but the only quad I know of that may come with twist throttle is the Gas Gas 300/450. Other then that, the rest come with Thumb throttles.
You can convert it over to twist easily if you wanted to.

my gas gas came with a twist, I wish they all has twists, I feel I have more control with one. My buddy says if he ever buys a dirt bike that he would put a thumb throttle on it.

i dont like twist throttle, say your about to lose controla nd you grap the handlebars, well i usually end up twisting the throttle and making it worse so i like the thumb a lot better. the reason why i posted this topic was because a friend told me that almost all sport quads come with twist and i didnt think so.
i am the same way, all of my friends who ride bikes think im crazy when i say id have to put a thumb throtle on a dirtbike if i had one. ive grown up with thumbs so i can't just go switchin. and i can't get any throttle control at all.
yea quads come with thumb and bikes come with twist

I put a motion pro twist on my EX about a month ago. I love it, but i grew up on bikes. My buddy who has only owned atvs hates it. Its all about your personal preference. My 2 cents is that the twist does not tire me out as quickly. It only took about 15 mins to put the twist on if you want one.
