top speed of a stock 250r

i was just wondering what the top speed of a stock 250r is because i have a 400ex and and trying to decide if it is worth it to buy a 250r instead. thanks for all the help you can give me.

I had an R an i can assure you it is a lot faster than my 400. I think it is about 70mph for a bone stock R , but with mods such as a pipe, reeds, etc... they are greatly improved.:)

I don't look at top speed too much, I like to get to top speed fast. An R can out accelerate a lot of things and it does it very well.

my piped 86 did 74.8 mph with a aaen pipe, stock tires and gearing 2 years ago when i first got it. i think the stock 86's did around 71 and the later years did around 68-69. i just switched to the 89 gears though to give me batter acceleration.
