My 440 is a B_tch to pull. Looking for an EZ pull lever. Which is better, Speed or PEP? DO I need a dust cover also, and a on the fly adjustment? Does a little ball bearing help out? Also I am changing the clutch cable too. What worked for you?

Try lubing the cable first. the cables get a lot of dirt in them and will make it hard to pull.

I have a PEP ez pull clutch lever with a Moose ez adjust clutch perch. I like the PEP clutch lever alot, it is easier to pull in and they arent really expensive like some of the other clutch lever and perches. Id recommend getting a PEP ez pull clutch. Also id get a new clutch cable. My wires or whatever inside the black outside cover or whatever it is started to come apart inside and was making my cable feel all wierd. Id just get the new cable it isnt going to hurt.

My friend, ledofthezep, has a '97 Banshee. About 2 months ago he put on an MSR clutch perch, I hate that thing...it is hard to pull and very hard to adjust. my $.02!

Change out the cable and get any perch/lever combo you like or are willing to pay for (the nice are way expensive compared to the others)
