AC nerfs saved my leg!!

I was riding yesterday and got to high on a big sand berm (sp) and smacked a tree with my front tire. My nerfs just bounced off it saving my leg. God bless AC. It was funny, I have branches sticking out of my tire bead. No air is leaking though.....Slow down Tony... :eek2:

Just wondering where did you ride out this weekened, I'm from SO Cal, we never met up in Glamis, but just wondering about some new riding place around here since I am new to the sport. So far I have been to Glamis, Dumont, Gorman, Big Bear, Salt'Sea,

Pismo is next, but just wondering

No they did not but it's a proven fact they are a safety product and NOT running them increases your chances of being hurt. I"d like to know the number of lives saved compared to that of lives lost due to nerf bars. I can say I'm very glad I have them..they have saved me several times..and if you could see my nerfs and the shape there in..you'd see why i say this..
