I am also going to put an ad in the paper for my 86 camaro and 2 grand am's.Also might be selling my 1990 chevy 3/4 ton 4wd.Trying to get the vehicle count down to one's that work.Or where my dad's.

Thanks for the compliments.

I am still getting used to driving it.I went from a cavalier. To a heavy truck with a 350,manual trans,Non power assisted drums and manual steering.

It was leakin around the valve cover gaskets. So I decided to get the fixed. So I pop off the passenger side.Put a new gasket and edelbrock valve cover on.Go to the passenger side pop it off and try and put the new one on.It wont fit.The altenator hits it.So I have to get a longer belt.

tommorow I am going to wash it,change the oil, degrease the engine,Add a bed liner and take more pics.

Yeah after driving it 35 miles home. And then around the house a little bit.I have gotten alot more used to it.I wish the seat would move back farther.I am 6'4.The manual clutch is bear.I am not a very big guy strenght wise and that clutch gives me a workout.

You got any pics of your c/10?

nah no pics ...was long ago ...i miss her at times :(
is your shift on the column ?..

Moded86R

yup an old 3 on the tree.It is hard to shift quickly.I might change it over to a floor shift.I kind of like it because it is original.Other times I don't cause it is a pain. And you can't really shift quick with it.

I fall in love with these trucks more everyday.I just love the 67-72's

dont shift to fast ....at times would get stuck in between gears
at the column ...maybe mine was just really sloppy tho,,
sometimes was a pain to get unjammed ...

Yeah the guy told me to do it slowly. And let it find it's way in there. So that is what I have been doing.Except one time.I got on it and when I shifted to quick I missed 2nd.

I am 17 years old.I got my dream truck. The weather is going to be perfect for the next two days and I am off work.

Woohoo!
