need some advice guys!!!

i wanna cut my stock front fenders, however, i don't know what tool i need. is it just a sharp knife? where do i start cutting. i did a search and found a few i like. i would like them about 1/2 to 3/4.

I used a dremel.

i mesured out a piece of electrical tape and shaped it how i thought it would look best thn took a marker and went along the inside edge of the tape.. thn took the tape of and used a rotozip and cut bout 1/2-1" away from my line i made w/ the marker thn from there used a hand sander to get it to the exact line i marked.......... thn after i had it all done i used chrome car door edging to add a nice finished look.....( look close u can see the edging......

make patterns ,cut close w/jigsaw,sand down to line ..;)
takes about 15/20 minutes per side

I used a air grinder on mine and it cut them like butter. I marked them with masking tape first, measuring every few inches to make sure they were even then carfully cut them. Try it you'll like it
