it advances the timeing 6 degrees i hear it improves throttle response and somwhat lowend torque i however have no opinion yet cause i havn't fired mine up and i probably still won't be able to tell cause i did a crap load of stuff all at once so i have no clue what each thing did for the bike:huh but atleast you know what it does now;)

I have one in my bike and it gives a better throttle response:D
I would say it is worth the $15.. You just don't want to run it in a 440 will creat too much heat.. I put it in my 416 and have not had any heat problems..

i have it in my bike and the throtle is right there.. and i felt it had a lot more bottom end and you can lug it more then before... i love it but you are not supose to use it on the high comp engines...

well worth the moeny... go buy one you will be happy!!!

I've heard that from more than just Sparks Motha, I don't have enough knowledge to get into the details about it, someone gave me a great breakdown on why a HC motor runs better without one a while back though.

Why is it that sparks 465 stroker kit on there web site show parts you should get with the kit. They include this timing key. I think the 465 is running a bit more compression than stock...

it says it in the instructions and on their web site that it is NOT recomend to run it with high compression engines... So i can t tell you why it could run in the 465...

I heard just about every engine builder not recommend it for a high compression piston regardless of engine size. On sparks website they list all their 400ex products available, even though they don't recommend it. Call sparks and they'll tell you not to advance the timing on the 465.

but it also answers mine, if your not mechanically inclined enough to jet your own carb then you better find someone else

maybe you should have worded your question a little better cause asking if it's easy can be very broad yes it was easy for me but yet it could tougher than **** for dick hickey due to the fact he's not very knowing with motors some people on the site can't even install a new pipe, do you fit into that category
