what size pilot?

what size pilot jet for a 300ex? 40? is stock 38?

HI there fellow rider, looking yoru mods and you havent' changed your pilot??

all i got is uni filter with holes, and a slip on T-4, I'm running a
40 pilot
3rd groove
128 main
3 turns out

Hope that helps. you should chnage your pilot much and way jmoreeasier to start. I don't even use the choke no more, I am even thinking about taking it out. No need for it.

o, i must get one then, although where do I get it, and is 40 big enough for me or 42? i almost always leave airbox on with holes

40 will be just fine,

remeber this are the klein numbers too for the jet sizes, so stick with klien jets.

I bought a 40, 125 and a 128 that should be fine to get the right jetting.

42 is too big and way to rich, some riders don't even change there pilot on there 300ex, the reason being, do need to, but it will be easier, much easier to start the quad in any wheater.
