yes dont even compare them, suspension is a place where you dont want to go cheap get the best you can afford.

I have the elka's without rezzies. It took a little bit to get them right but now I really like them. I'm able to go faster through everything. I don't know about the works but when I was shopping aroud I was told the Elka's are made better have bigger shafts, the springs are better steel and the seal are better.
I'm not joe racer so I didn't get rezzies.. Plus they do look better.
I wanted a plush ride so if you want them soft order them for a little lighter weight than you are.

From what most people say Elka. I have Elka too, but I dont want to say get them over Works because I have never rode them. I would recommend Elka to anyone though.

So go with Elka, you will not be dissappointed.

Ok guys, what about the fact that the elkas with the somewhat close price dont habe the rezzies, but the works do, how much better will the elkas fade over stock or over the works with rezzies. My main concern when i buy my shocks is that they will have to have rezzies, cuz the fading is the worst part about my stock shocks that i notice during an xc race.

For fading yes go with a rezzy shock. But for a clean plush ride. Go with the elkas.

im still looking at elka tripple rate w/o rezzies or works.... i dont see what elka shocks do for another $200 compared to works to give a smoother ride i know elkas are alot stronger but all i care about is how smooth the ride is?

Well over the whoops my Elkas are amazing. I havent been able to launch off of any big hits so I cant really tell you about hittin tables, doubles, triples, etc..

We just got some snow today- about 3 inches. I am so pissed off I need the snow gone to get some good riding in.
