Cant push throttle

I went to the track today and after a couple of laps the thumb would hurt from pushin the throttle and it got so bad to where i had to take a brake after every lap. Is there any way i can get my thumb stronger or work it out or sumthin so it doesnt happen as much????

also...buy a squeeze ball and one of the hand springs to exercise you hand

Exactly what Pappy said. Don't grip the bars so tight. relax

Try adjusting the angle/position of the throttle

Ex:1 move throttle closer or further away from grip
2 angle throttle up or down on handle bars

LOL LOL good one;) yeah I have the same problem....so we put a twist on the blaster which is nice for flattrackin but I'm still runnin the thumb on the 300, I bought one of the hand springs & use that & am starting to ride more. Think we may put a weaker spring in or heat the one in there up a little. I always catch myself white knuckling the bars so I just try to concentrate on relaxing & it does help.

use a twist throttle, once I got use to it I never went back to thumb throttle

Same thing happens to me every so often when I start the year off (on the sled and quads, not the quads so often). you dont even need the ball just exersize your thumbs (pretend the ball is there, it works) :D

Lube the cable, Grease the ends of the cable and take the thunb part out of the throttle assembly grease the shaft, then put it back together and dont put the return spring back in.

Hey.I think ill be goin not this weekend but the next...once i sell my 300 im gettin a 400ex around when summer starts then we can line them up...put anything on ur 400 lately?
