can u bolt on 18 disc's w/ the *same* bolts that bolt up just 12 disc's??????

nope you have to buy the longer bolts ones they make for the exhaust.................i think dennis kirk sells them:confused:

The stainless allen head bolts are nothing special. Most hardware stores will carry them. Also make sure you put antisieze on the threads when you reinstall the discs. Otherwise the bolts will heat-weld themselves into the pipe after time. Making them impossible to remove.

what size bolt to fit 18??? ( 2 1/4" ?? )

Take six discs and stack them together. Then measure the thickness of the stack of six. And then just add that figure to the length of the 12 disc bolts.

thts what i figured, i was just making sure tho..... so w/ 18 whats it do??? top end low end??? does it decrease anythign?

Back when my engine was stock, I noticed an improvement in mid to top end pull. No losses at the bottom either.

If I remember correctly more disk equals more top end and less disks equals more bottom end.
