I payed 150 dollars for my frame, sub-frame, a-arms, steering stem. From the a local place. They did a decent job, but I know pappy probly could have done better.

It looks good if you don't look to close. It has some spot thats look like orange peel, and some thin spots. Plus the color wasn't the same as in the sample. The sample look like a Metalic candy apple tranlucent, but it looks like a solid red thats kinda of has a puple maginta hue. Only on flats spot can you see the metalic in it. I wish I could have it done like a tranlucent blue, but theye didn't have any blues. At leaste the had it done in a day, The did it for a decnt price and it was next door to my work. But I wouldn't back to them again.

sounds ok john...ill get right on the hubs so you arent delayed any further.

sicko....sorry to hear that. every frame ive ever seen has a flaw somewhere or another. luckly they are in areas that are normally not noticable without really looking for them. some arent really flaws...just the properties of the frame or a normally falacy of the pc. i know i always try to do my best but as they say...chit happens:p auto body is the same...and sometimes the flaws are correctable during the process and sometimes after. one of the safest ways to ensure or cut down on the risk of problems are to stay with basic colors. the fancier ya get the more problematic the pc job can get. i could take someone who has never pc'd a part in thier life and turn them loose with silvervein and the frame would look great. its a different story with a 3 or 4 layer powder.....thats where repetition and expierence pays off. i find that doing a few solid color frames first....then moving on to the trans colors and such helps me get into a rythm for that days work. oh well, enough of me spouting off....i hope i helped ya

I would definitely recommend getting your powdercoating done by David Plate (a.k.a "2r's rider").
I just got my swingarm in today that he powdercoated for me.
It looks AWESOME!!!
He does some amazing pc work.
Heres some pics of it.
