My cusin just got his motor back from CT racing with they're 440 kit in it. He was wondering what he has to do to break it in properly?? I say run it 10 minutes at low rpms up and down the road like you would when breaking it in stock and then repeating it for about an hour or so then dropping the oil again... am I right or is there a diffrent way to do it with the 440? We started it up for a minute or two and the headers started getting red hot to he shut'd it off, what's causing this?

That page also says that smaller intake ports mean more power, is that true?:huh

I recently had a 416 kit installed, and I pretty much followed the advice of that page. I'm sure the mechanic that did the kit took it for a test spin or two, but once I got it, I followed the directions. It runs really strong, but time will tell, I guess.
