Ok the guy doin my motor on my quad got all of my parts in except the most vital parts that I ordered. The ARIAS piston and MIKUNI carb, that white bros carries. Well the guy that he ordered my parts off of said that the carb is backordered for atleast 30 days and the piston is backordered till god knows when. Race season is already here and the weather is nice. Like everyother person i wanna freakin ride!!!!! Can somebody tell me where I can get these parts ASAP.

Thanks
Matt

I am not sure who mfg's pistons for the 250 but you should be able to find one and a mikuni carb from any major or minor parts dealer etc.

Why not call C&D and tell them what you need?

dont ever go with White Brothers for ordering engine parts, my friend outlawex had a came from there done almost a year ago, and he is still waiting for his 120 dollar cam core charge, everytime he emnails them they give him an excuse, liek were working on it:rolleyes:

Ive been thinking more and more about the wiseco. Heres the facts: wiseco compression ratio 12:1, Arias compression ratio 11:1. With the wiseco i would only be boring it out to the next bigger size and with the arias i was going to get the 260cc big bore piston. I refrained from getting the wiseco because he told me that the rings are thin and i would have to replace them persay after this race season, which really I have no problem with. Gimme somemore thoughts.

Thanks

a wiseco 12:1 piston is like a JE 11:1 or lower, wiseco doesnt have true compression ratings, a 10.5:1 is pretty much stock compression, i recently found this out right after i rebuilt my engine and i ahve a wioseco 11:1, i wish i woulda found that out sooner i woulda have ordered a JE 11:1 piston, they ahve true compression ratings

i believe you are way off whoever said stock comp is 10:5:1, its probably closer to about 8:1 or so, a 400ex is 9:1

i know sotck compression is aroun 8 or 9 :1, im just saying a wiseco piston, advertised as 10:1, is about the same compression as stock, wiseco doesnt have true compression, i have an 11:1 in right now and its true compression is prolly 10:1
