Has anyone ran an external oil cooler and air scoops on their quad?I was thinking of running both but I don't know if the cooler would fit inside of the air scoops.

I have scoops, extra large oil tank with cooling holes, and the fst oil cooler and it runs perfect, not too cold, not too hot.

If you could, is it possible for you to take an oil temp after your next ride and post it? Ive got scoops and an oil tank. I keep a log of oil temps of my Honda. Im curious to see what temp yours is running at.

I have the FST cooler and like it. Its well put together kit that will increase the life of your engine.

the site is being rebuilt and should be up shortly. It costs $120 and is worth eery penny. It comes with rubber oil line though. I went out and bought the stainless steel lines for like $40.

yes their web site is down , i heard a rumor that it is not coming back ,not enough people used it to make it worth their time!! but i know you can still contact mickeyat : mdunlap@bedford.net this is an e-mail for four stroke tech.he is great about replying. ny oil cooler was a lil cheaper because i live less than an hour away , so i drove there to pick it up.no shipping no waiting. the oil cooler cools the head and cylinder first , unlike the stocker , which translates in to more power. awesome investment!!

A local company in San Diego made them for me.

if you go to a local auto parts store , you can get hose dress kits that have the stainless steel hose covers. you can find someplace to make the lines , but it is mostly for the looks anyway, but it may help a little w/ heat also!! not much , but 1-5 degrees is a help too!!
