I was wondering if anybody with close to the same mods as mine has had thier quad dynoed. Anybody want to estimate my HP. I know there are some members with extensive experience with motors. What do you guys (and girls) think. My mods are listed in my sig.
Thanks:)

Since you're still running the stock carb, I'd guess you're in the 36-38 horsepower range. Which would put you in stock Raptor or Banshee territory. I've beaten stock Banshee's with mine. However the piped ones still get me. My piped Raptor also spanks it as well.

hereis a dyno from a 425/426 kit with agressive cam, 11:1 wiseco, port & polish, stock jetted carb, hardened rockers, titanium valve springs, k&n, and full graydon system exhaust at 38.2 max hp. I'd imagine this is probably slightly higher than yours because of the cam. A stock banshee runs @41hp, piped and jetted about 45-46hp.

All the dyno sheets I've seen show a stock Banshee in the 35-37 horsepower range. Your piped Banshee numbers look correct though.

Hey Dune Surfer, You'll have a better chance of beating a banshee if you get some different paddles. You should get a hauler paddle on a 8 inch wheel. They work a lot better than the Sand Skate II's I had.

Good info. To bad they dont list what type of cam they used.

They used a GT Thunder camshaft. The GT cam is just slightly more radical than a Stage II Hot Cam.

any dyno runs to prove that 55hp for the 440 stroker ????

Most 440 kits I know use use a short rod ... and that tends to kill the power ....

OK back to my post. Anybody else? It's looking like 36-38 hp from the replies so far.
