Sold off my stock Honda doughnut tires and wheels for wider tires and offset wheels: 20" rear, 21" front Holeshots. The stock tires inflation values were weird like 6.3lbs. front 5.2lbs. rear. My bike came with a trick gauge for the decimal increments. So with totally new sizing what is an average pressure for the new ones or do the factory values really mean anything? I thought it was strange they didn't round off to the nearest lb. How critical is pressure for trail ridding?

Please post suggested values or do you sort of guess?

air up your tires acording to the riding conditions. on hard pack use more air, in mud, sand, and loose conditions use less.

so trails and sand dunes would be less then stock avg. and the tracks would be more then stock avg?

I run about 8psi front/10 psi rear for the track, and 6 psi front/6 psi rear for trail riding. My track is hard packed, so I would use less for soft/loamy tracks.
