View Full Version : What color to paint my blazer?

i wanna hear what color you guys think i should paint my 1985 Chevy Blazer...throw out your opnions

it has a 305 BB with straight back dual pipes with cherry bomb mufflers it sounds SWEET :devil i was thinkin red or midnight blue with metal flake? or make gloss black? i dunno give me some ideas :macho

midnight blue with metal flake is a good blazer color, definataly my choice.

bout 5 years ago there was this kid who was buildin a camaro and kept talkin bout how it was gonan be midnite blue its sititin in his yard in grey primer all rusted out

Black looks good on anything. I would say orange with a black hard top:devil

what is a 305 BB?

305 cubic inch Big Block

Since it's a chevy paint it hot pink with a blue metalflake top.

Sorry to break the news to you about your truck, but a 305 is a small block, not a big block....;)

Haha, I was going to say something about that but forgot. the smallest big block I have heard of was in the 400 range. I like small blocks better myself, quicker response, better gas milage, and much lighter, but I am a Jeep guy, so go figure.:devil

Yeah, it's weird with some motors. I'm an Old's freak and they have a 400 and a 403. The 403 is a small block and the 400 is a big block!:huh Part of it is the width of the intake, that's one of the determining factors.;)
