hi,

i have a 250x with 11.5 to 1 piston and fmf power core pipe. i am happy with the performance gains so far except it seems to rev out to quickly. would a rev limiter help or would it just give me rpms in a range that is not effective. i appreciate any advise.

thanks dan

You will find a lot of different opinions about this subject. I have a rev box and beleave it helps a lot. I think if you build your quad as a high rever you will like it. (cam, high comp piston, ect)

Those dyno's show about a 1hp gain. I see most exhaust systems giving a 1.5-3 hp gain for around $500. I'll take every little bit I can get. Hmm $75-$100= 1 hp or $450-$550 =1-3hp. I say go for it. My 2 cents. good luck
