fuel switch Q?

has anyone noticed that there are 2 indicators for fuel,reserve and off, one on the plastic and one under it behind the switch on a metal plate,. on my 03 quad, the fuel and reserve indicators are switched,the plastic says ''fuel" on the bottom and "res" on top. underneath, behind the switch on a metal plate "fuel" is on top and "res" is on the bottom. anyone now which one is correct? thanks

Strange huh, my 02 is the same way. The switch is right though. I have run out of gas on the on position and switched to reserve and it worked.
