i found a 2000 400ex at the bank i work for that got repoed. anyway the frame is tweaked back on the right side about an inch from the front bumper, and also the front left wheel is unuseable. the airbox dosent have a lid an no filter, but there is no dirt in the intake, would this be a good investment or not they said i could probably have it for less than 1000

If it definatley runs good, I would think so. But not having an air filter would have me worried!

Yea, if they are are only problems then it seems like a good deal. But for that cheap its probably in worse condition then it looks. JMO

For $1000 there would have to be a lot wrong with it for it to not be a great deal...

LMFAO :D i`m so ready to buy the thing it needs a chain too and maybe sprockets, but i`m gonna go check it out again on monday hopefully and see what my dad thinks of it since he works at a body shop

2500 prolly about as much well around here if u think u could get more then that ur kinda off in the brain

Buy that 400 , you caould find a frome on ebay between 350- 500 dollars and a wheel between 25-100. Or you can part it out and sell all the wiring to me.:D

thats a heck of a deal dude... just like leo said, you can part it out and double your money... thats what i would do, i prolly wouldnt keep it to ride.


sell your 300 for like $2500 or so, buy the 400 and part it out, you could prolly have like $4000

You could sell your 300EX and use your money to fix up the 400EX.

even though its only a $1000 doesnt mean theres somthin wrong with it if your gettin it from the bank. they always sell the stuff cheap becasue they want to get ride of them. and because its all reposessed sp??? so its always cheap

my unlce works at one and he prices the cars and quads they get like that and there are some deals

he once had a brand new warrior it was like mint selling it for $3500
