Help me guys. Im going through chains like a madman on the lakota. A chain will last about 1 year on the lakota and then its gone. I see all these 400s that race dont go through chains that fast. What could be eating these chains so fast? BTW Im using a DID o-ring chain. Also, what chain lube do you use?

WOW, im lucky if i get a few month out of a chain, and i do lube it

Ya thats the most i ever got out of it. One time i got 3 months out of it. but the average is around 6-8

Mine is a few years old, I ride rear every other day if I can. if it starts getting kinky take a tooth brush and scub it for awhile then let it soak in diesle gas for a dayish. then scrub it to make sure, rinse it, then put it back on and lube it a lot.-darren

If your sprockets are worn, they will eat chains up in no time.
