I can get Burgard a-arms for christmas for 300 bucks. Do you think they are worth gettting? They only have one thing going across for the shock but if i get pep i dont think it will ever break plus im a light weight. I can get them and an Axle for christmas or fullbore plastic and get my a-arms later on. What do you guys think? Thanks

I'm not saying burgard arms aren't any good, but i would save your money or have your mom save her money and get a good set of a arms that will last longer and will look better

burgard isnt as bad as everyone thinks, i have them and have jumped hard on stock shocks and they show no signs of wear, i cracked my frame 1st.....they are the same design as JD and the one bar is actualy stronger than a square design like stock uses...i would def. get them....ive seen a few sets of them around here, all been raced HARD and not bent or broken cracked etc.,,,,if you have aftermarket shocks they will hold up as good as anything besides walsh and DRD, how can you get them for 300?

I too have seen Burgard a arms raced hard, and i haven't seen any flaws in them, seem pretty strong. I say go for it. Looks like a good setup, except, i would get either a LSR or RPM axle instead of a durablue!

My Burgard's have held up to all my abuse and for that price ($300) I wouldn't pass them up. They're not as heavy duty as Lonestar or Roll but as far as lower priced a-arms go they are the best in my opinion.

Does anyone have a Pic. of them on a quad.

Here's a pic of mine. In this picture you can see the similarities between Burgard and Laeger a-arms. The Laeger's have a slightly stronger shock mount and zerk fittings and that's about it.

HOTT440EX,
They are +2. I have Legacy Racing ZPS shocks which makes the front end sit lower and wider than it would normally be. You can see where one of my shocks was set higher than the other by accident causing it to set crooked.

yea, i was going to ask about that too, but i forgot. so they are adjustable ride height as well?

Yeah, you could drop the front end down or jack it up in a minute. They are like 30+ individual height settings. Those are old pics, I have mine sitting just as low now as my friend's 250R in the picture.
