I am getting some new maier race cut plastics and was wondering if there is any easy way to make something to be able to easily mount and dismount the lights, like off the handlebars. I rarely use my lights, but on those instances where I may go for a night ride or something I would like to be able to slap on some lights. I would like to use stock lights, if possible, I am not loaded with money so the billet lights are probably out...

Anyone made anything themselves?

pick up some cheap fog lights and put them on your bumper their great. 20 bucks for some decent ones. run the wires right with your stock headlight

I was hoping for something that could be mounted to the bars or stem.... And I would like to use stock lights if possible... I don't want something permanent, I will probably use them 3-4 times a year...

..doubt you wanna drill anything, buti use mine every few weeks or so.....
..i drilled holes in that flat plate behind your bumper with the serial number's on it, and mounted mine right there.
mine's made of plastic, but i havn't had any problems out of it.
just an idea....humm as far as mounting i on your bars...

maybe get a stiff piece of metal, mount it on the bars with the handy bar clamp bolts....

i like the location of lights in pic #3....looks pissed..

I got a bracket cut out of steel that looks like this \_/ and put fog lights on my handlbars. On mine there are two holes in peicee above the steering stem below the bar clamp. I dout urs is the same but u could make somthin similar.

no drilling required.....use hose clamps......then you can just plug them in when you need them it takes 30 seconds
