Kx80

my friend has a kx80 that he wants to get rid of. its a 89 and doesn't look that bad, the bad thing is it won't start, the thing has compression but it won't start, we tried spark plug, changing oil/gas. he wants it out of the way and i can get it for 150$. i was thinking it might be the carborator. anyone have any ideas on what it might be? thanks

the rings could be friend, but buddys kx80 wouldnt start, the only way it would start is to run with it snap it in gear and let the clutch out and the next day he took it apart and the rings were fried.

hahah the funny thing is i bought it for 130 and didn't put a dime into it, i got the thing running like nothing. the thing was overly flooded with bad gas....hahahaha
