How much is my motor worth?

Im considering selling my 300ex motor and getting a 350x motor to put in my quad. The motor is a 2000 model. Its in great condition, nothing wrong with it, oil/oil filter/spark plug changed every 3-4 rides. Valved checked/adjusted every few months. This motor is in great shape and runs awesome, its completely stock. How much do you think I could get for it?

You have a better chance of just giving it away.... Not to many 300ex guys blow there motors like 400ex guys do..... and no one wants to transplant a 300ex motor... It would defeat the purppose.....

So I figure if you hang on to the motor for another 5-10 years you may see tons of buyers than.....

geez, give it away. I dont know about that, maybe take it apart and sell it for parts. Maybe on ebay or to one of those used quad parts places.

yall are crazy ive saw em go for $700 bucks on ebay...i wouldnt let it go for less than $500 thats for sure...

No way that you will get 500.. They are slow engines to begin with, Maybe the one whoever said they saw go for so much, had a big bore kit in it, who wants a 300 engine, maybe for parts and stuff but not payin 500 for it, you can get a big bore kit for that much

If they have a 250X whay would they spend the money on a 300 transplant and not go to a 400 motor... I doubt they'll do all that work just to have results almost the same... I don't know anyone who would do this....
