Trouble with a 250X

Hey Guys, my riding buddy has a 250X tha t he is having some trouble with. Some days he goes out to ride and it starts right up, other days he can't even get it to fire up!! I don't know alot of the exact details but I thought I would post this in case anybody has any ideas. He said he went through the wiring and found nothing wrong. Anyone have any ideas what he should look at??? :confused:

I would just start with the simple things. Replace the spark plug and make sure it's gapped properly, clean the air filter and make sure it's got good gas. That will give you a starting point to troubleshoot from.

here my advice find a big hill then push it down the hill(very fast)put in first and wam you'll be started. i have fun doing that sometimes.

it's called popstarting it. It doesn't mean it will work. If something is wrong with the air/fuel/fire components then it still won't run.
