A year ago I swapped from the AMA to the ATVA to ensure membership and support for the ATVA. What club do you guys belong to?

Good thread! I was gonna post a question about ATVA, just got a letter in the mail about joining, but wasn't sure what it was all about. And I thought the AMA was only for racers? What made you switch?

Banshee_ex07, all you have to do is join. If you want to ever race in an AMA/ATVA sanctioned event you have to be a member. They are one of the key organizations to keeping trails open, legal representation against the eco's and ensuring our voice is heard in government... in other words kind a lobbyist. For more info go to www.atvaonline.com

right now i'm sad to say that i'm a member of AMA. I know ATVA even existed when I purchased my AMA card so I won't make that terrible mistake again. I like for my money to go for Quad benefits. F them bikes. They already have their sport established

I switched over from AMA to ATVA this year.

They have a competitive membership, for those who race, and a recreational membership for those who don't (it's about $10 cheaper).

I hope the magazine they send ATVA members is better than the AMA one... at least it makes good campfire startin' material...

make sure your money and support goes to the sport and pasttimes that we all enjoy ATVA

you dont get into them for free. But to race AMA/ATVA sanctioned events you have to be a member. But when you sign up, sign up ATVA. ATVA is just a branch of AMA prertty much except its ONLY FOR QUADS. So you would be foolish to not be in ATVA.
