My friend has a 2003 Yamaha YZ 125 dirt bike. It has pro circuit pipes, reeds, heavier flywheel, starcross tire and twin air. My other friend has a Honda 250R with FmF gold series pipe. FmF power core 2 silencer, Douglass aluminum rims all the way around, hole shot XC tires all the way around. I was wondering who would win in a drag race, and who would win in a drag race if both bikes were stock? Please help me out, even your opinions would help!

hes talking about a trx250r (fourwheeler) not a cr250 (dirtbike)

naming what kinda of rims and tires wouldnt really make a difference... but the YZ would deff win

me and my friends know how to ride and my firends 400 takes our other friends piped 125 all the time in short drags, no matter who rides it...

umm even if it was against a cr250. the yz would have got its *** handed to it. but anyways the YZ would take it.

my 97' 80 beats some piped 400's... so its all about power 2 weight ratio's...

you could imagine how powerful a CR/YZ/KTM 250 is!... and i want one! :p :eek2: :devil

My dad had one and it had some mods. It flew. A cr500 does 96MPH stock and with a pipe it will do 100+MPH. O ya, the YZ would win.

who would want to do even 80mph :huh

unless your hitting a 120+ ft jump, or on the salt flats, racing some time-of-the-month banshee :huh .. and yeah iv seen a cr500, it was wheeliing past 125's, when the 125's were topped out... at a drag strip

fastest production stock bike is the xr 650 R 110 stock


i rode a 89 cr 500 with a pro circuit motor, i just started to nip the powerband in 1st gear and it was time to brake

most uncontrollable craziest 500s is the 86 its a legend and i never wanan ride one

i dont know why its the fastest or if it is but they said unless your the incredible hulk you wont hang onto it

I know a couple people with 86 cr500's and they love em.
