I just got some 18inch turfs on champion beadlocks for mx racing.
does grooved enhance the performance that much beter?

my tires are 18x9.5x8

yeah, im not to great with 2 strokes, but i have ridden a shee, blaster, and an rm125(holy **** they rip!) never an r though, but i know i will ride tant's:D

From what Ive heard the grooved tamers will hook up way better. The downside is they will wear down real fast, like in less than five runs.

What :ermm: 5 runs? I've had really good luck with my tamers. They will probably not last as long as some of the others, but I've had as good of luck with grooved tamers as I did with holeshots. They should last you more than 5 runs unless you're doing burnouts on pavement.

I didnt groove mine, and I got plenty of traction, it all depends on the tracks, grooving reduces tire life.

hey tants depends on the conditions of the track if your running hard pack don't groove e but if the track is kinda loose or loamy then def groove em...i used a tile cutter that i had to modify a bit but works good
