Burgard and houser use the same Ball joints and on my a arms the Bottom ball joint screws in farther than that....The threads start to go out the back of the nut.. You should check that so you not bending Ball Joints....

in a way there both used for camber adjustability, because if you want to run maximum negative camer you will have to unscrew the bottem one al the way and screw in your upper,, so its not like you have to have it a certai way

I know its a slightly diff set up but you should get the idea.

Dont make yourself crazy about where you set it to start (do make sure you have enough thread thru the nut etc) as you will be making changes after everything is bolted on and then take measurements from the wheel.

Do a search on camber and there were a couple good threads not to long ago.

If you screwed it in all the way then yes it's enough..everything else looks ok..

The bottom looks good where you have it. Put a locking jam nut on the back side of it. Then put everything together and start adjusting camber useing the two nuts on the top joint. If camber will adjust to where you want it then everything is fine. If camber will not go enough neg then you will need to back out the bottom joint and start over. (I don't think that will be the case). Unless you are running flat tread tires like the radials you will probably want to start with 2 degrees neg caster. You can get a cheap magnetic base angle finder at sears to set it with. Once camber is set tighten all the ball joint lock and jam nuts and recheck camber. Set the toe last. Try to make all adjustments with someone that weighs about the same as you on the quad if possible.
